Negative potential energy content analysis in cracked rotors whirl response

چکیده

Abstract Appearance of transverse cracks in rotor systems mainly affects their stiffness content. The stability such at steady-state running is usually analyzed by using the Floquet’s theory. Accordingly, instability zones rotational speeds are dominated negative content whirl response vicinity critical speeds. Consequently, an effective measure introduced here to analyze effect crack and unbalance force vector orientation on intensity potential response. expression obtained from direct integration equations motion considered cracked system. proposed applied for transient operations Jeffcott model with open breathing models. numerical experimental responses found be critically depending propagation level orientation. Therefore, this can as a detection tool that either exhibit recurrent passage through or running.

Review of Recent Advances in the Application of the Wavelet Transform to Diagnose Cracked Rotors

Wavelet transform (WT) has been used in the diagnosis of cracked rotors since the 1990s. At present, WT is one of the most commonly used tools to treat signals in several fields. Understandably, this has been an area of extensive scientific research, which is why this paper aims to summarize briefly the major advances in the field since 2008. The present review considers advances in the use and...

Flow Seals Parameters Analysis For Rotors

The interaction of work fluid mechanics with that of the rotary system itself, basically composed of axes, bearings and rotors, is performed by inserting equivalent dynamic coefficients in the mathematical model of the rotor, the latter being obtained by the finite element method. In this paper, the dynamic coefficients of inertia, stiffness and damping of the flat seals analyzed here are evalu...

POTENTIAL ENERGY BASED STABILITY ANALYSIS OF FUZZY LINGUISTIC SYSTEMS

This paper presents the basic concepts of stability in fuzzy linguistic models. Theauthors have proposed a criterion for BIBO stability analysis of fuzzy linguistic modelsassociated to linear time invariant systems [25]-[28]. This paper presents the basic concepts ofstability in the general nonlinear and linear systems. This stability analysis method is verifiedusing a benchmark system analysis.
